Local Data

Your blocked sites.

Focue writes this data to Chrome extension local storage first. Signing out keeps the local copy. Earning and spending coins never requires an account or an internet connection.

Optional Cloud Sync

When you sign in, Focue may synchronize:

Theme, language, tone, intention, timer, and accessibility preferences.
Normalized tracked domains, daily limits, enabled state, and per-site limit experience choices.
Focus-session records identified by client-generated UUIDs.
Daily usage counters grouped by user, date, normalized domain, and device.
Deletion tombstones needed to remove an item on your other devices.
Premium GIF media when you explicitly upload it.
Coin wallet ledger entries — earned locally, or credited after a coin package purchase — identified by client- or server-generated UUIDs, used to compute your coin balance across devices.

Focue does not synchronize full URLs, paths, query strings, page titles, page contents, or browser history.

What Focue Does Not Do

No account is required for free features. Earning and spending coins works fully offline; only buying a coin package requires signing in.
No AI is used.
No analytics are collected.
No tracking scripts are included.
No product telemetry or behavior analytics are collected.
Supabase stores account data and the optional synchronized product data listed above.
Stripe processes subscription payments and one-time coin-package purchases. Focue does not store card details.

Pack Store Catalog

Focue ships with a set of free packs that work with no network. When you open the pack store, the extension may also ask Focue’s server (Supabase) for newly published packs, at most once an hour. This request is anonymous: it carries only the project’s public key, with no account, no identifiers and nothing about your focus time or sites. If you are offline, or the request fails, the bundled packs are used. A pack’s artwork is downloaded from the same server only when you install it.

Premium Membership

Premium membership is optional. The extension checks membership through Supabase. Premium GIF uploads are stored in a private bucket protected by row-level/storage policies. You can sign out at any time; sign-out removes the account session while leaving on-device settings and usage untouched.

Contact Form

The contact page on focue.app is the only place on the website that asks for personal details, and it is separate from the extension. If you write to us, the server stores your message, your email address, the topic you chose, your name if you gave one, and your browser language. To limit abuse, it also stores a one-way keyed hash of your network address; the address itself is never stored and the hash cannot be turned back into it. We use this only to read and answer your message and to block spam. Messages are kept until we have handled them, spam is cleared after about 30 days and archived messages after a year, and we delete a message sooner if you ask (choose “Privacy or my data” in the form). Nothing from the contact form is used for analytics or marketing, and it is never shared.
